The program committee just finished its first meeting. We've got a list of names that we want to invite, or ask about who to invite - as people sign on, they will be added to the mailing list, but it's not an open mailing list at the moment. We have two choices: Monday, October 4 in New York or Wednesday, October 6 in Mountain View. For people at the NY conferences, the travel to NY is short; for people not at the NY conferences, but living on the West Coast, the travel to California is short. So it's a tradeoff between difficulties. In both cases, we would start with a dinner the evening before for people who come in early, and then have an all-day event (8 to 4 or so).
