In my LAN just now: PING RTT for 64 bytes: 0.1 ms on wired, 0.7 ms on wireless-to-wired PING RTT for 1400 bytes: 0.3 ms on wired, 1.3 ms on wireless-to-wired Our algorithms have to function well when RTT is 0.1 ms, as well as when it's 1000 ms.
