Of course, all the information presented at this meeting will be public, and not covered by any non-disclosure agreement. But since this meeting is in the Googleplex, the usual Google rules for visitors apply. This means that you have 2 options: - Sign the enclosed NDA agreement, and either: - scan and return it to heleneas@google.com before this weekend; then we can prepare a badge for you - sign it when arriving onsite, and get a badge then and there - Do not sign it, and get a "no NDA" badge printed onsite. The difference between the two is that with a "no NDA" badge, you can't go outside the meeting room and cafeteria areas, even when escorted by a Googler; with the NDA badge, a Googler can take you to show other parts of the campus. Sorry about the bureaucracy! Harald

oops ... that should be helenas@google.com! On Wed, Sep 29, 2010 at 12:56, Harald Alvestrand <hta@google.com> wrote:

Just as FYI to others ... I will be doing the "No NDA" path. I've done this several times in the past at Google and I still get to go to their great cafeterias and all the areas I have needed to go to. Google does everything they can to make this NDA topic an non issue and I really appreciate that. Cullen On Sep 29, 2010, at 4:59 AM, Harald Alvestrand wrote:

I notice that 'toilets' did not make it onto the lists of places you're explicitly allowed... I'm hoping this is an oversight? Cheers, On 30/09/2010, at 2:02 AM, Cullen Jennings wrote:

I did seem to be allowed in the toilets and even more interesting there was really cool coding advice written on the bathroom wall. Cisco certainly would have considered such fine advice "High Confidential" and have an ISO 9000 process for managing the information retention policy for writing on the bathroom wall. It was less clear if I was allowed to ride the segways ... On Sep 29, 2010, at 10:23 AM, Mark Nottingham wrote:

I will as well. Note that only Apple does this better - no NDA to sign. If anyone wants a good story ask me about the meeting I once had on Facebook's front lawn. --Chris
