I am a developer working on the Packaging System which is part of the OpenSolaris.org project [1]. I would like to register a mime type for OpenSolaris.org's IPS packaging system, pkg(5) [2]:

MimeType: application/vnd.pkg5.info

Can I assume by your choice of name structure that you're planning to register other vnd.pkg5.* types? If yes, then that's fine, otherwise you might just want to go with vnd.pkg5-info. Mark.
