Since I have received no further comments on the example media type draft, I have added the following sentence to the introduction as I indicated I would do. When it appears, I will forward it to the IESG. "It is suggested that compilers of illustrative examples involving media types in trees other than the standards tree might also incorporate the string "example" into their hypothetical media types."
