While I agree with most of Chris' other remarks, I note that color variations encoded in HTML (particularly if more complex methods such as style sheets are used) would be particularly difficult for readers with certain visual impairments. I'd prefer a field that indicates status explicitly in text. I'd rather not have to dig through actual registrations, since it is conceivable that a registration might change after initial registration (I believe that there are several such proposals in discussion).
