Based on RFC 1590, MyXaml Inc. is requesting the registration of the Media Type "myxaml". This media type is specific for MyXaml markup and requires a plug in component for Internet Explorer and FireFox in order to present the user interface. For example, the URL:

points to a myxaml file on the MyXaml server which contains the markup necesary to display "Hello World", hosted as a Microsoft .NET window in Internet Explorer using the IE plug-in component.

The Internet Explorer plug-in component has been completed, and the FireFox plug-in is under development. This media type would be of specific use to corporations interested in developing rich client applications with MyXaml, with the application hosted on their own servers.
